Whitby Seniors Photographic Club

Our Photo Club

Our club is made up of people interested in photography as a hobby.  All levels of expertise are welcome.  Club activities typically include:

  • Photo challenges periodically are done such as sky, water, macros, black & white, scapes, etc.
  • Outings to various photographic opportunity events and places.
  • Discussion and presentations of various topics to share knowledge.
  • Photographing Senior Centre events for the archives.

 Members photos are shown in a none competitive environment.  The only criteria is that you have a camera and a membership in Whitby Seniors Services . Expensive equipment is not needed. Meetings are held twice a month on the first and third Wednesday at 1:00 PM.

  • SC Bazaar October 2018 We sold 10 prints and donated $100 to the Senior Centre

  • Outing to Lavender Fields and Primitive Designs We had a great time on a sunny day visiting Laveanne and Primitive designs before lunch at Turtle John's in Port Hope.

Whitby Senior Centre
The Whitby Seniors' Activity Centre is a multi-service, multi-generational gathering place where older adults can learn new skills, access resources and make connections.
Membership to the Centre opens the door to exciting and affordable programs that will enrich your life, strengthen the community, and promote healthy and active aging.
